I think I have to side with Sin City on this one Boof...

Think about Lucian Bute with his insignificant IBF title in the super middleweight division right after Calzaghe defeated Kessler... I mean, really, does anyone, except the idiots at the IBF think that Bute is the champion of the division?

It's not what title you get, it's who you beat to get it from that matters IMO.
A title is only as prestigious as the fighter holding it and the record he has defending it.
I get what you're saying, but fighters have a different mentality than the fans. We all know who the real champ is at any weight. At WW, Floyd is the champ with either Margs or Williams number 2. Right now Williams is number 2 until Margs rematches him. I had to throw that in there Sin lol.

I wish I could side with Sin too, but I have to go by reality. We all think like Sin, but since there is no legit top 10, we have to go by how boxing operates today.

No, he is saying great fighters are the ones who usually are successful at moving up, fighting in multiple weight classes.

news flash.. Floyd is retired and he isn't coming back.
And I have to disagree. Though Margarito lost to Williams he did beat the number one ranked contender in the division, Miguel Cotto.
Williams beat him before this happened.. So I would say Margarito is @ 1.. Williams and Cotto are at 2. Why? well Williams has only fought Margarito and Quintana who are noteworthy and with El Indio he is 1-1.
I do want to see Margarito give Williams the rematch to settle this **** once and for all.. I don't think he should be looking to fight Judah, he should be taking care of business.

no but everyone cant do it..it takes a special breed of fighters to adjust their fighting style as they move up..it's no easy task
