I heard alot of the same **** leading up to the first Cotto vs Marg fight.
Why not let them make this fight and we'll see? It makes no sense to sit
hear and speculate what Cotto is going to do the next time. Cotto himself said that he tried going to the body but could not get through. I say he needs to start off by getting another trainer (sorry tio ). But this should be the first step in having a chance against Margarito.

As far as Margarito what would you guys say he needs to change or do different? Ok, other than his hair cut LOL!

I just hope they do fight again.

        cotto should fought margarito
the way castillo and coralles fought
        shorten up margaritos punches
take away the wide looping shots
        block the uppercut
sounds easy.... i kno it wouldnt
but id take that game plan over sticking
and moving against that machine lol

Cotto just had to stay on offense instead of sticking and stunning Margo then letting him recover...**** that keep pounding him till he drops.

WTF does that suppose to mean? it's almost as absurd as "Cotto didn't train well enough for Tony, he said he didn't train any different than for Shane or Zab" Hmmm OK....??? Cotto was supposedly on his hardest, more intense conditioning training camp ever, as was described by the media prior to the fight, so why the lame excuses?

Back to the original topic, Cotto fought the best fight of his career, he boxed, moved, threw combos, held his ground, beat Tony to the punch earlier in the fight. There was nothing else Cotto could have done to avoid his fate, it was inevitable, Tony was the bigger, stronger, hungrier mother ****er that night, and the rematch will be similar except Tony puts him out earlier.

            End of story

P.S. I know it's going to be almost 3 weeks from the fight, but I was banned for 2 weeks and I'm trying to catch up with the ****
if cotto went 11 rounds with margarito, as good as he is he can definitely go the distance in a rematch. u put too muc emphasis on the fact that he didn't come out of the 11th. if cotto employed a better gameplan includin a body attack he can beat margarito convincingly.

He ran too much which tired him out instead of clinched at opportune moments. That's why.

Exactly right...that's the way I see it. You got an opponent stunned, now hurt him, when he's hurt then finish him...Cotto never went past stunning Margo, that was his biggest mistake. He had so many chances to really hurt Margo and simply backed the **** up..."I couldn't for the life of me understand that."

He did make a mistake. He should have held when he was in trouble. Held more in general. Should have low blowed if he had to.

cotto fought an excellent fight, he started off real well, showing decent boxing skills, nice jab, combos, footwork. But margarito broke his will, and took the fight out of cotto and made him quit
