Margarito. When Floyd entered the division, Marg was the #1 ranked WW.

Oops. At that point in late 2005, I'd say Judah, he had just come off a career best performance against Spinks and then destroyed Rivera.

Margarito was still very dangerous though after beating down Lujan and Cintron.

I'd say Judah was more recognized and accomplished at WW, but that still doesnt make him the most dangerous. Judah gave Floyd a harder fight than Margo would, but Marg would destroy Judah. As the saying goes..."styles make fights"

Joe Calzaghe was unquestionably the best at the time... anything other than Joe, is a ****** answer.

Nobody knew that though, barely anyone had seen him fight, were talking about within the time frame here, which most of you seem to FORGET, when can retroactively make those statements now, but the perception then was Judah, because he looked like he could actually beat mayweather at his own game. We had already seen mayweather against guys like Margarito, but judah was bigger and faster than mayweather, thats why he was more dangerous, he looked like he coul play mayweathers game better than mayweather.

At that point people were saying how much more mature Judah was and that he was a better fighter than he was before. He had just beaten a very good fighter in Cory Spinks and destroyed the durable Rivera in 3. He also has/had the style to give Mayweather trouble so at that point, which was before the Baldomir fight, he was the most dangerous IMO.

That's very true. The true WW, 154, MW, and 168 champion.

On a serious note, it's probably Judah.
