Erdei and....Chris John. Holy crap, Chris John needs to fight Linares or Larios or someone. He's been fighting Indonesian and Thai bums for years. The guy needs to step it up. His best win is a questionable hometown decision over JMM.

Of course, but at the end of the day those are just excuses, made by the Taylor camp, for the benefit of Jermain Taylor. If Taylor wants a tune up, thats fine, but he chooses it at the expense of a live offer on the table. In my opinion choosing an easy fight over a slightly tougher one for a title is a duck, simple as that. I don't have to make excuses for Taylor.

Also, I actually think Froch is a big threat to Taylor, as you say, it is only on paper he is a nobody.

Taking a tune-up fight that is an eliminator for the fight you are accusing him of ducking IS NOT DUCKING.

Go back over the series of events. Initially the WBC ordered Taylor to fight Froch for the vacant belt or lose his ranking entirely. When Taylor's camp said they were fighting Lacy instead (which was in negotiations before the WBC stepped in), not only did the WBC not remove Taylor from their rankings, they agreed to make Taylor/Lacy a title eliminator. So, the WBC went back on their initial threat and worked with team Taylor... why do you think they did that? Probably because Taylor is the most bankable fighter in their rankings outside of Calzaghe, and because DiBella ****ing told them to because they intend to have Taylor fight for the title in the near future.

Also, the offer on the table ******. Taylor made 3 million for his last fight, and was offered $1.25 million to fight a no-name in Froch, when he could take a fight he's been wanting for years in Jeff Lacy, use it as a tune-up no less, and make more money than he could fighting for a title overseas. ****ing HBO said they weren't even interested in the fight. Taylor is an HBO fighter. Do the math.

Call it what you want, but Taylor's camp did not DUCK Froch, and they're not "making excuses." They're doing business, and right now Froch is not a hot commodity, which is HIS ****ing problem.

The longer it takes to make this fight, the bigger it will be anyways, so I don't see what you're getting worked up about with all this "Taylor ducked Froch" BS.

Because Taylor needs a tune-up, and the other contender for the paper belt is so pathetically unknown that Taylor can get more money for fighting a tune-up against an ex-champ.
