I think so might not be as big as others could be. I think cal figured b hop out so the rematch would probably ud. and might provide pretty much the same fight as the first time.

of course he has to present a scenario that he's gonna win by. but he sure talked a lot about how danerous he is and how he's a good puncher who tries to hurt you and saying he has the heart of a philly fighter is the highest praise coming from a philadelphian great. evrybody else he's fought he's always been over the top. just saying this is a little different.

Must be mind games on the part of Bernard.

Unless he really hopes to get knocked out by Kelly, which almost wouldn't surprise me... the man is getting old and he's never been knocked out... there is plenty of evidence to suggest he is far past his prime, but he may be looking for a cue to hang up the gloves altogether. He probably wants to quit, and knows himself well enough to know that he will keep stepping back into the ring until he starts getting hurt. Maybe he wants Pavlik to be that guy?

But that's just a theory. I still think it's mind games. He knows Pavlik is a confident, relaxed guy and the typical trash talking probably wouldn't get him anywhere, so he may be aiming to make him overconfident. That and he wants to sell PPV buys by making people wonder, "is this the fight where Bernard finally gets stopped?"

I hope bernard whips him, but either way im a winner.

                Scenario 1.

Bernard wins, Pavlik is exposed and all the yanks try to pretend he never existed.

                Scenario 2.

Pavlik wins and everyone talks about how its the biggest win EVA!!! OMG!!! Complete contradiction of what we hear about Joes win over the "old man"

Oh and before some smart ass says Joe looked bad against bernard, so will Kelly... probably worse

                Bernard Hopkins= Ugly fights.

I am a so called Yank and predict a win for Bernard but if Pavlik stays on his feet his performence is already better than Calzaghe's.Pavlik is fighting Hopkins at the begining of his career while Calzaghe fought him nearing the end, where he will fight another anciant legend by the name of Jones.Kelly has time to add plenty of names to his resume that are prime fighters if he wins.As of now Hopkins would be the most accomplished fighter he fought so wouldn't that be considered a big win?

If Pavlik loses he still has his belt at middleweight to fall back on and Abraham will want that belt even if Pavlik has a loss.Hopkins even at this stage of his career fought Joe to a SD so it wouldn't suprise me if Pavlik lost.
Why would his real fans pretend he didn't exist when Hopkins is a future hall of famer who has given problems to nearly every fighter he has fought?Even at 43 he has enough in the tank to trouble the best in the game.
