To be honest it is not possible to credibly argue that Kessler is superior to Cotto. Looking impressive does not trump wins over elite competition. Until Mikkel can step up and beat a top elite fighter I will still regard him as an incredible talent that is yet to be realised.

bhop has a far deeper resume, his fight with joe was much closer than kessler-joe, and to say kessler is a better win than bhop is foolish. Bhop clearly gave joe his toughest fight.

I agree. But it is important to remember that there is a distinction, Cotto has achieved more, based solely on the quality of his opposition, but rating Kessler as the better talent is perfectly acceptable IMO. Like I say, we don't have to compete on behalf of the fighters, all we have to do is discuss them.

To actually think Kessler is good boxer as Cotto is absolutely crazy. Cotto boxing skills is not near Mayweather level but is close. Kessler is no way a the better boxer than Cotto, outrageous stuff
