Why do Calzaghe fans deny, lie and distort information.

I think Hopkins right rand was a bit dangerous in the early rounds especially the first.Kessler is known as a puncher,yet he hit Calzaghe with his best uppercut and only buzzed him.Hopkins on the other hand threw a perfect right hand that Calzaghe walked into and that floored him.Another agrument that could be made is that Kesslers style is more suited for Calzaghe while Hopkins is more like Bika and likes to use rough house tactics which caused Calzaghe problems in his fight with him.

Difference being that Hopkins didnt hurt Calzaghe, he was just caught cold and off balance by a perfect right hand. Flash KD.

Kessler actually hurt Calzaghe a couple of times hence his punches were more effective.

I get what you mean about the styles, I dont remember anyone who's really looked good against Bernard Hopkins - win, lose or draw - even a prime Jones.

It was an ugly fight. Hopkins knocked down Calzaghe, but loses his stamina. Calzaghe wins in a SD, but some had Hopkins winning.

The reason why they say Kessler was Calzaghe best wins

1 They don’t want to say their fighter’s best win was over a 43 year old man which included a knock down.

2 They don’t want an old yank to be his hardest fight

3 Saying Kessler was harder makes Europeans fighters look better, hence helping Calzaghe resume.

4 They are Hoping Kessler becomes a very good fighter years later hence saying that was Calzaghe best win

5 Hopkins made Calzaghe look like an amateur





Hopkins was Calzaghe best win; there is no need to deny this. Hopkins is the better fighter and his status was higher at the time when they fought and gave Calzaghe a harder fight.
