No I don't like Pacquiao really. It's the truth.

Morales-Pacquiao I is one of the best fights I have ever seen though, and #2 was on its way to being the same type of great fight until Morales started fading... I like competitive fights, that's all.

I just don't understand how a likely early KO is going to be overly exciting. Longevity in a fight is important to the excitement factor. I mean, really, did you find Jones-Griffin II exciting? It was too short to be considered exciting IMO.

Pacquiao is going to have to fight a near flawless fight in order to win, and flawless performances generally are boring because of the total lack of competitiveness coming from the opposition.

To each their own I guess.

EDIT: By the way... I am starting to like Pacquiao more and more, considering he has moved from a brawler who only has his left to what he is now, and he looks like he is on his way to becoming a very proficient boxer-puncher, which will only increase my like of him even more.

Yea, it'll be entertaining for as long as it lasts. However long that may be.

oh cmon, Pacquiao vs De La Hoya is a good fight. its not often that two of the top guys at much different weight classes meet up together at an inbetween weight.

first of all DLH is only a top guy as a NAME .. nothing more. he's still top 10 at Super Welter, but that has more to do with the weight class being weak than DLH being a "top guy"

the only reason Margarito, Mayweather and everybody else wants a fight with DLH isn't to fight "the best" it's to get paid, bottom line.

*take Mayweather's W over DLH last year, it really wasn't a big deal because Oscar stopped being relevant as a true elite the moment he moved up to 160 and lost to Bernard Hopkins

and it's not a good fight, it's Oscar taking the biggest available name he can find and making him move up 2 weight classes for a fight.

it would be in DLH's best interest to carry Pac-Man at least 7 or 8 rounds to make this appear competitive.

this fight may be like another cotto/margarito fight being that the bigger guy may beat the bejeezus out of the smaller man.

But the thing is oscar wont budge while pacquiao will get beaten so bad he will contemplate retirement.

I though the oscar vs gatti fight was exciting, gatti had his moments and he is stronger and faster then pacquiao but just seeing his will to win impressed me more.

glad his corner threw the towel.

Gatti's stronger than Pacquiao? Maybe, but faster? And if you're talking about the will to win, if there's one boxer out there who has no quit in him, it's Pacquiao.

actually Roach said when pacquiao gets cut he wants to quit almost.

Pacman looked like he wanted to quit against jmm and in the first fight with morales he was more focused on his cut then the fight and morales kept hitting him while pacman kept trying to wipe his blood off his eyes.
he just doesn't handle blood well.
Mexicans are known to love the site of their own blood they fight harder when they see it.
