Malignaggi: "I'll Prove Myself Against Ricky Hatton"

Cotto couldn't knock Paulie out! What makes anyone think Hatton will? If you watch the Cotto fight you can see that Cotto used more of a bulldog type style for that fight like Hatton does. BIG DIFFERENCE is Cotto > Hatton by far.

I think Hatton will be eating Jabs all night and will get frusterated that he won't be able to bear hug and throw sloppy body punches with his head down.

Cotto takes rounds off and doesn't throw as many punches.

I think Hatton will win, Malignaggi is a little overrated, well they're both overrated, but I think Hatton may take him out. Malignaggi has been too inconsistent (almost losing to Herman, getting whacked around by N'dou).

Hatton uses roughhouse tactics which is not ring generalship. In the Mayweather fight in the first 3 rounds most of his punches were either missing or landing on Mayweather's arms and shoulders, yet Harold Letterman gave those rounds to Hatton. Good thing the real judges saw the fight as is was, and that is Mayweather's punches were clean and crisp while Hatton was just simply being rough. Mayweather exposed Hatton and I think Malignaggi will go to school on that fight and will beat Hatton either by late round stoppage or a unanimous decision. Besides, after that terrible beating he took from Mayweather Hatton just might be a little gun shy. Remember.........that was his first loss and his first time getting beat up. That kind of thing stays with some fighters.

I really think that malignaggi has fought way better boxers at gleasons gym sparring,so hattons only chance is to punch and clinch and hope that his body shots where malignaggi down, because if the fight is in the center of the ring then hatton will eat jabs all day long.

Well Paulie if he loses will be off the map, no one will take notice but he wont lose. If he wins, Paulie is the king of the light-welterweight division, people have to go to him now really, he beat the main guy no matter whether Hatton was hsot or not. Attacking i think Hatton is the same perhaps but defensively his alot poorer and Paulie combos and jabs will eat away at Hatton all night.

Oh and yeah, when Paulie wins, Hatton is done!

Paulie is gonnna domesticate the bull, your gonna see Hatton try to get his shots in but he's too ******, the man comes straight in. I'd actually give Paulie 'Feather fists' Malignaggi a decent chance of beating hatton if he had just a little bit of power. Hatton the sort of fighter you have to hurt, if you want to beat him. Ricky is past his best and hasn't looked good since beating tszyu IMO. But, hatton will be to strong and should just walk through malignaggi and beat him up. Hatton by late KO or UD!

Hatton should win this fight if he really wants to be class as one of the best at 140, Paulie is good technically and he could make this fight tougher than it looks on paper..

Neither fighter was sharp in their last fight and but base on their respective last fight i would favour Paulie by UD.
