Vanda - Julio Cesar Chavez Jr... the judge who gave JCC a landslide win in that fight is paid no doubt.

There's also the Randy Suico - Mzonke Fana fight in Africa where the ref is obviously trying to have Fana finish the fight. Fana practically was hanging on for dear life by round 11 and still got the unanimous decision.

i think RJ - JC might be fixed. both self promoting it, and both wanted a second fight in wales. might just make the fight close or a fixed draw.

i always though dela hoya - hopkins fixed for the same reason

The first fight was fixed, but the rematch will be the real thing. I was actually talking to Vernon and he told me that he just over trained.

Briggs vs Lykovich was also questionable in my eyes. Anything Shannon Briggs could do, Lamon Brewster could do better. This guy took bombs from arguebally the hardest hitting heavyweight in Lamon Brewster and goes and gets stopped by one punch from a fat Briggs. A fight in which he was winning and Briggs was not even throwing punches and was gasses out after the first round and he himself admitted that he was having an asima attack. I personally believe that he was paid off and when it was time for him to fight again, his heart for boxing was not there anymore.
I don't think Briggs - Lyak was questionable unless you hate Briggs. Shannon hit Sergei with a good counter left hook that stunned him on the very first round. Lyak got very cautious after that even after Briggs got sluggish because of an asthma attack. There are many rounds Briggs was able to hurt him and it made the fight close with Lyak up by a couple of points in the final round while others had it even.

He's the same guy who claims that he'd easily beat Zab Judah in a street fight.

Well, Lamotta already admitted that he threw the Billy Fox fight. He covered up his poor performance by saying he was injured. Jack Johnson didn't take a dive, he was old and was trying to discredit the loss.

I've never heard anything about that.

Basora looks stone cold here, unless he is faking.

Joe Gans - Terry McGovern was believed to be a dive.

Of course there are many fights like this where an overmatched fighter takes an obvious dive.

Emmanuel Augustus went 7 tough rounds with Mayweather soon after this...
