I think he should take an easier fight, maybe fight WBA regular champion Yuri Nuzhenko where he can pick up a belt at the same time.

I say Clottey but if Marg ends up rematching Clottey then maybe Cintron, Collazo, or maybe if Juan Urango or Juan Lazcano would be willing to go to the 147 mark. But I would say in that order Clottey if no Clottey then Cintron if neither then Collazo or if Urango moves up a weight class!!!!

I think Berto/Cotto would be pretty damn entertaining, and probably an easier fight for Miguel than rematching Margarito right away.

Fight a top 10 contender who ain't a threat to knock you out.

I personally think that Williams would beat Cotto and I'm not basing it off of anything from the Margarito fight, but i don't see Cotto knowing what to do against that kind of pressure and volume puncher that also has Margarito like stamina and can punch when he wants to. I would put Cotto in with a gimme and slowy start to build himself back up. I would feed him a past his past journeyman, for example someone like Carlos Boldimir and then place him in with a top 10 welterweight and from that, the title shots. It wouldn't be wise to place him in with another champion especially from the beating that he just took. He could be discouraged mentally.

Me I'd go after Williams, a win there put's me right back.

Put yourself in his position, what do you do if you're him? Tell me your story.

There aren't many men who can take Cotto's firepower. All his manager has to do is fit him up with somebody he can hit.

I do think Williams has way too much body for Cotto to miss, always have. Paul has a pretty decent chin though, and as long as Cotto doesn't waste a ton of energy trying to knock him out, like he did against Margs, I like his chances. Miguel will likely take on an easier opponent that he knows he can blow out of there to get his confidence back first.

cotto usually fights one hard fight each year and then two easy fights.....eg gomez, urkal, branco, torres, abdullaev, etc...

expect him to take an easier fight, and i think he should choose any one ranked from from 5 - 20.
