your just a hater and a joke. if anyone deserves a payday its antonio margarito. he has come up the hard way to be known as the best welterweight fighter. but he hasnt made that big payday by picking and choosing and ducking and dodging. he has fought top 10 guys in 4 of his last 5 fights. this man fights whoever they put in front of him. he fought williams when no one else would. he fought clottey when there was all risk and no reward for fighting him. this man has no regard for human life so he dont care who he has to beat he will fight them anyway. use some plain and basic common sense WILL YA???

        How much was margarito offered?

and question number two; What other big fights is Margarito getting?

The only reason for Margarito to not fight Williams is if he can get a huge payday with DLH, otherwise he needs to avenge his defeat to Williams or he will look like he's ducking him. It's a shame if Tony does decide to duck Williams since he has a damn good shot at winning the rematch IMO.

nobody knows how much margarito was offered. we know ARUM was offered $4 million................

if he fights clottey that is a big fight. its a unification fight and haters like yourself have said that clottey would beat margarito if not for injury. so he aint taking no easy fight. and also im sure he will get paid the same if not more than williams has offered because margarito is now a big draw. plain and basic common sense.

“The offer to Top Rank for the Williams-Margarito rematch is quite simple,” Goossen said. Goossen Tutor would guarantee $4,000,000 to Top Rank/Margarito against a 50% split of net revenues. This is a major fight for our sport and one that would draw tremendous fan and media interest.”

Margarito offered $4 million for Paul Williams rematch!
                By FightFan News Wire (05-Aug-2008)

Dan Goossen of Goossen Tutor promotions announced today they have tendered a 4 Million dollar offer to Antonio Margarito to face Paul Williams in an eagerly anticipated unification title fight / rematch!

“The offer to Top Rank for the Williams - Margarito rematch is quite simple,” Dan Goossen said. “Goossen Tutor would guarantee $4,000,000 to Top Rank/Margarito against a 50% split of net revenues. This is a major fight for our sport and one that would draw tremendous fan and media interest.”

“When Margarito said he wanted a rematch right after our fight on July 14th, I said I was happy to give him one,” Paul Williams stated. “So of course I’d be just as happy to give him a rematch in November.”

If Tony fights Clottey thats fine, but Williams should definitely be next and Tony needs to start calling him out for sometime next year.

And when you hear that "Margarito gets 1.4 million to fight Cotto", you don't think that Arum takes his promoter's cut from that also??

                      Same thing, mijo.
