I just hope this helps people from being hypocrites.

Boasting on how Margarito will fight anyone in any ring slash street alley in the world.

People wake up. Most fighters are the same. Once they get a little shine they want to make sure they make the best decisions to keep the money and recognition coming in.

Margarito is no different. Sure he's a warrior but he's not dumb. He's not going to risk losing his belt before he even gets a chance to put it around his waist.

I hope people open their eyes and stop being hypocrites.

Margarito turned down a four million dollar offer from Williams. it would be MORE THAN DOUBLE his previous career high payday.

Ton'y team is smart, not cowardly. Fight fans want the rematch right away, and should demand it. But, right now, Margarito and Williams are still both relatively unknown to the general public. I'm sure there will be some increased excitement around Margarito's name after he dramatically KO's Clottey, which will give the Welterscene some increased exposure and fight fans another look at Tony before he faces his toughest-ever opponent. That increased exposure will translate into more $ for both Tony and Williams, nothing wrong with that.

But, Tony's got to make that rematch happen right after Clottey.

Why are you worried about the Arum cut? Arum takes a cut regardless of what the purse is. Are you suggesting that Tony should drop Arum and become a free agent?

I'm not worried about Arum's cut. He can go to hell for all I care. But your comments glossed right over the fact that the offer was made to Arum, not Margarito. Calling Margarito a coward two week after his biggest win for turning down an offer that he might not even know about is horse****.

Ultimately it is Margarito who has to decide who represents him. Currently he is under contract to Top Rank Promotions. Your misleading comments ignore that it was Margarito himself that broke away from Arum and signed to fight Williams, giving him the biggest break of his career. He had to sign a contract extension with Top Rank to allow the Williams fight to happen and stay out of court.

So say whatever you want about Bob Arum, it won't offend me. But calling Margarito a coward is a totally cheap shot that just inflames the less informed people here. They don't know any better, but I believe that you do.

It just suprises me,that people can diss Mayweather,saying why dont he fight this person or that person,saying Margarito will fight anybody,but now that hes got the biggest win of his career,and that hes a bigger name now,he dont want Williams,instead he'll fight Judah or Clottey,hes PICKING who he wants to fight,if this was Floyd who beat Cotto,people would be crying for him to fight Williams,but Margarito gets a pass for doing the same thing

And vice versa. The only reason there is an uproar is because Margarito fans bashed Floyd for supposedly turning down fights. And made it appear as though Margarito would fight anyone and doesn't care about money.

Marg isn't a coward lol, he did something that Floyd was **** scared to do and that's step into the ring with Cotto.
Floyd ran away from the sport cause there was no more midgets or old guys to fight, he was faced with facing the best welterweights and didn't want no part of them.
