There are differences in scoring. I understand your point that the relative changes are different. But something tells me that Casamayor or Mayweather would do just fine in the Olympics this year.
Except that they wouldn't because olympic boxing is amateur boxing...

This is a mindless response. There is no super heavyweight in Am!?
lol. why would I make up a super heavyweight division dip-stick? there is a shw division so I guess you are the one who is mindless.

very interesting topic, and despite Amateur and Pro both being boxing

the rounds being different lengths and cumulative point system in Amateur's vs round scoring in Pro boxing.

It would still be interesting to see the Olympics add a separate competition JUST for Pro's

I know it wouldn't prove a lot, and might take away from original competition, but from a general interest stand point, I'd like to see it.

I wouldnt want to see pros wearing headgear anyway especially with this point system. It would be nice though to see pros fight at the Games without headgear and a 10 point system, bascially a tournament where the countries best fight the other's best. Like what we see sometimes in boxing already.

IMHO Kindelan probably will score early, but eventually will WILT by pressure and be KO/TKO by pac...

and I still believe that a Juan Manuel would be harder to beat in a 4 rounder...
i don't think it'd happen, he's much more suited to the pro game
