Maybe he's referring to Sam Langford, that's the only other one I can think of.
That's a good one if you want to go way back. But Langford was not even really a heavyweight. Just a talented and tough smaller guy who fought heavyweights.
You'd make a better point if you came up with, um...some actual examples...

One short heavyweight I thought would make more of his career was Dominick Guinn. Sure he was easy to hit, but he was a tough guy who made his reputation taking out bigger guys who stood straight up in range of the hook. Once he fought guys his size it was all over.
