The Greatest Boxer Of All Time Is??????

Ray Robinson. He is easily the greatest welterweight of all time, he beat Kid Galivan, who is arguebally the second greatest welterweight of any era and Robinson was also unbeaten at welterweight.
''The 5'11 Robinson enjoyed most of his prime years fighting around the 147 pound limit, although more often than that he was pitted against bigger men. After a year at lightweight, in which he beat reigning world champion Sammy Angott, he moved up to out point future world welterweight champion Marto Servo( twice) and Fritzie Zivic( who three months earlier, had narrowly lost his word welterweight title); then stopped Zivic in the return. He went on to beat all of the top welterweights of his era, including Henry Armstrong, but it took six years before he got a shot at the vacant title, out pointing Tommy Bell. He reigned for four years, making five defenses, one of them a points win over future great Kid Galivan, whom he also shaded in a non title fight.''
That was a good peice from my bible of boxing magizine on Robinson's success at welterweight. He also has great wins at middlweight over Lamotta, Fulmer, Carmon Basillio, Bobo Olsin, Rocky Graziano, Randy Turpin and many other bigger champions that he fought while past his true prime and capturing the middlweight title for a record of times. He was also on his way to beating Joey Maix for the light heavyweight title until he ran out of gas. Joey Maxim was the first to beat Olympic gold medalist and hall of famer Floyd Patterson at heavyweight. So yeah, with all of that Sugar Ray Robinson is undoubtably the greatest of all time. Muhammed Ali stated that he ranks himself as the greatest heavyweight of all time but pound for pound, he said its Robinson.Comment

No ****ing idea... I am not a historian in the least.
I think you can make a great argument for Roy Jones Jr. though... that guy was ****ing untouchable.
Perhaps Mike Tyson...
I'm not really sure. What you are looking for is a guy who didn't look to be vulnerable in any of his fights before they went out of their prime.
Both Jones Jr. and Tyson fit that bill IMO.
Resume wise, it's Robinson easily.Comment

NICE PICKS BUT WASNT JONES AND TYSON CHIN WAY TOO EASY TO HIT WITH STRAIGHT PUNCHES...(STRAIGHT LEFT ON JONES AND STRAIGHT RIGHT ON TYSON) PLUS ITS HARD TO GET A BUM TO FIGURE OUT TYSON OR JONES STYLES SEEING THEY SPENT ALOT OF TIME FIGHTIN EMNo ****ing idea... I am not a historian in the least.

It's unfair how he gets overlooked by historians.
