Truth be told... Guzman is a nobody at 135.

Of course it's obvious you're sucking up to him.
He's the #1 contender to one of Campbell's belts, do obviously he's somebody at 135.

I watched the Barrios fight and the Soto fight.

Dude Guzman throws a lot of hayemakers and looping punches which turn into a slap coz of the angle of the punch.

      I'm just stating the obvious.

And if anyone's the coward... it has to be you.

You love gayweather am I right? lols.

      Cowards prefer other cowards.

      Like you.

Until he beats Campbell... then he is a nobody.

        The SOMEBODY is Campbell.

It's not even an argument dude so don't even try.

It's pure common sense and if you can't understand that then remain ignorant.

He does loop his punches (or punches wide) frequently, so it's really a matter of technique. I wouldn't say he slaps though because there definitely is some snap to his punches.

LOL, wtf you yappin about? I stated the obvious that he is Nate's #1 contender, so that makes him a somebody in the division. Obviously with Nate owning three belts Nate is the man to beat. I'm not even arguing a point with you

if you watched the Barrios fight you could see Guzman showing a little punching power on the mits but there was a graphic of Guzman's last 4 fights covering the screen so its difficult what to make out of it .

Guzman ain't a puncher to be feared, but he's got decent pop to go wit his boxing skill. Nate's a pretty tough guy, so he should be a good gauge of Guzman's power at LW.

I liked Mayweather until he retired not fighting the best at WW.

He still has great skills just won't utilize them against the best in WW, can't knock the guy because he fought great fighters 140 and below..

                    He is No coward.

                    You PHAIL

Guzman does have looping punches, but its mostly because of the positions he finds himself in through the fights.

Guzman has looping/wide punches because he has angles. He throws a shot to make it land, to look impressive. Not worried about the power behind it. When he was at the lower weight classes, he didn't worry about the punches and he was still developing his style. He was a little more stationary.

Now that he's more of a mover, and has a defensive-minded trainer, he has more lateral movement, more moving in general, more angles and more cleverness. Because of this, his power has faded in the sense that he doesn't do AS much overall damage and he throws trickier shots to duck or block.

However, his speed has remarkably increased as he went up because he doesn't load up at all.
