I agree it's unlikely. Richard Schaeffer also said he 'heard' it was a great fight. Mayweather will probably say he didn't even see it and Oscar as well.

How so many people so directly involved in the sport all decided to ignore that fight sounds like BS to me. What's more likely is once Cotto lost everyone developed sudden disinterest and never watched the fight.

If somebody says they didn't see the fight I take their word for it. I'm not going to call sombody a liar if I have no evidence that they're lying. It's not like Paul Williams has never seen Margarito fight. He was in the ring with him. I've read about a lot of boxers who don't watch boxing on television.Delahoya hasn't commented either way and Mayweather is retired.

The difference is Mayweather wanted no part of Arum and bought out of his contract. He's currently involved in a lawsuit that involves suing Arum for millions of dollars he claims Arum owes him. But people with the anti Mayweather agenda love to leave out details like that. I wonder why?hmmmm
