Oscar De La Joya vs Manny Pacquiao

Roy Jones VS Ruiz, we let it happen what's wrong with (Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De La Joya) This figth has more reasons & motives for both fighters to win.
Oscar De La Joya must win:
        1. To vindicate the trowing of the signed contract on his face.
        2. To beat up the bully that terrorized his fellow Mexican boxers.
        3. To beat the number one Pound for Pound boxer of the present year.
        Manny Pacquiao must win:
        1. A feat that no Filipino nor Asian can break for centuries.
        2. His dream to be a politician will be on the silver plater.
        2. Filipino will adore him like Deity may even offer him the Presidency.

These motivation factors are worth more than the millions both will earn. Ofcourse the money will jump start the fight but it's just the icing.

Much respect to Pac for taking this.
That "Prick" is in a lose-lose sitation. If he wins he gets no credit at all, if he loses Pacquiao gets all the credit and it does well for Pac's legacy, And Pacquiao will get an extra 1 million dollar for each pound if Oscar comes above 147 lbs. If Oscar comes in at 150 lbs, thats like 3 million dollars for Pacquaio + the Guaranteed 10 million + PPV Revenue, Overall something like 25 million in the pocket which doesn't affect Pacquiao's legacy if he loses to Oscar, and DOES affect Oscar's if he loses to a former flyweight. Even if Oscar wins by KO it does nothing for his legacy. Win-Win for Pacquiao, Lose-Lose for Oscar.

True. He HAS craved respect that's been neglected from Mexican people...

              Not a bad point.

So De La Hoya thinks that he can finally become a mexican hero by fighting Pac - a guy who's beaten the top mexicans.

Margarito said: "I'll beat De La Hoya to Avenge Chavez"

I wonder how many other Mexicans feel a victory over Oscar for Margarito would be revenge?

Oscar probably knows this, and if he ends up KO'd on the canvas with Marg hovering over him, he'd never forget the Mexican people cheering against him.

Marg - Might mean Mexicans cheering against him
Pac - Might mean finally getting the respect from Mexican's he's always been craving

              Am I wrong?

I wonder if you were bitchin this much when oscar was fighting a much bigger bernard hopkins... middleweight vs a nat. welter... juss say your an oscar hater and be done... MANNY PACQUIAO WANTS THIS FIGHT MORE THAN OSCAR, Cotto was the frontrunner to land ODLH last fight until he lost, then pac started the trash talk , does it surprise anyone that ODLH wants to fight the best pound for pound fighter??? look at his history he's never ran from anyone especially not from pac and the roach talking trash... who would you suggest he fights??? and don't say a mexican b/c he said before anything he would not fight Chavez Jr. or Marg as his last fight, so he doesn't get the reaction from the mexican fans he got after beating Chavez SR.

I don't understand why this fight is happening. It makes a lot of money for Oscar, but it hurts his legacy. I thought he was looking for the toughest fight out there. That's not Manny. If anything; Manny will come out the winning all around. He's going up against a bigger guy. If he takes a lost. His stock will go up. No matter what. Not to mention his pockets. Manny is in a win win situation. By the way.... I'm not buying the PPV event.
