What I'm about to say may hurt their fans, but Cotto and Taylor were overrated!

You mean Cotto? No, they lost because of flaws in their styles. This imitation shot you took at Floyd doesn't cut it. Floyd rose in weight and proved he could fight inside and out against tough comp. J.T and Pav showed heart but lacked the intestinal fortitude to finish when things went from bad to worse.Comment

Sometimes a fighter just runs into another fighter who has their number. It has even happened to great fighters. Every fighter can be beaten, there are no exceptions to the rule. If a fighter remains undefeated, it means he just did not try hard enough.

When you compared Baldomir to Margarito I laughed (along with others) and came to an obvious conclusion that your thoughts are pretty off track.Last edited by machotime; 08-07-2008, 12:58 AM.Comment

Oh, I know that great fighters lose. It just that when we saw Cotto and J.T lose, their flaws were obvious. Even before we saw them lose, we saw their flaws and many did not want to hear about them.Sometimes a fighter just runs into another fighter who has their number.
