it is a downer that Kessler's stuck with another mandatory ... as this fight is, right?

but who else can he fight? Bute is taking on Andrade (some one Kessler shut out) Calzaghe is unrealistic, plus he's fighting Jones in November, and Froch is looking at Jermain Taylor, who in turn is fighting Lacy.

2009 should be a better year for Mikkel opponent wise, as im pretty sure we'll see either Kessler-Bute or Kessler-Froch.

why doesn't kessler fight froch? he's not busy...
beating froch would basically guarantee him a fight with taylor for good money and lots of recognition... taylor and froch are said to be fighting after their next fight..

[QUOTE=withoutthee88;3896862]If you call Miranda a "step up," what do you consider Sartison and Haussler in back to back fights?

By the way, red K for the foul language.[/QUOTE
Dunno what a red "k" is mate but you have to admit he is narrow minded and deserved it...like that silly bloke with the sig of Cotto's wife and kid crying...how sick is that guy???
As for Sartison...he was undefeated in 22 fights and must have been a bit of a rebound confidence fight for Kessler after the bad loss to Calzaghe...sure he had beaten bums but he was an undefeated scalp all the same that others had been dodging...as for Haussler he is a madatorie...why should Kessler throw his paper belt away to chase someone decent??? he has enough money and a belts a belt...anyone on here would take LOL!!
He will beat some big names mark my words...

Also I was refering to the other guys comment about Arthur Abraham...he was bagging European fighters and said that AA was the only exception he could see...he's beaten nobodys!!!...Edison Miranda...Thats it!!! who has Miranda beaten??? has he beaten Mundine? has he beaten Beyer, Siaca,Librado Andrade (like to see AA fight him haha!!) Eric Lucas...and put up a better fight against Calzaghe (although beaten soundly) than "legend" Hopkins did...least Kessler tried to fight!!!!...thats why he got tagged plenty.
As for thge baby daddy thing cant you take a joke?? What are you mr perfect?? I stick to my fighters as should you...im a Cotto fan to always will be...win or lose!!!

They do anything possible to hype Calzaghe resume, far enough to call Mundine a good fighter.
Come on guys...havent you seen Kessler go??? Hes the bomb man...1 or two more and he will be knocking on Pavliks door...mark my words...even if Pavlik beat him too...what a great achievement to fight him?? and Calzaghe too...dont be haters...your impatient to see him fight someone popular in America and it will happens soon, im pissed at it too but boxing is a waiting game!

Yep thats the truth man...its a mandatorie....he would have to give up his belt otherwise...he just lost 2 to Calzaghe so he wants some gold in the cabinet!! Jermain Tylor is fighting Jeff Lacy...not Froch...its in oct/nov I think.
If Bute can stop Andrade I will be surprised that guys head is like Rocky's...no way Kessler would fight Andrade again...thats the type of hard head hes got.

                      Mikkel Kessler (Denmark) WBA title.

Kessler has the interim belt which is worthless.
                      Calzaghe is WBA super champ
Kessler is WBA regular champ. It's a smart (read: annoying) way for this alphabet boy to collect more sanctioning fees. Whats worth knowing is that Calzaghe's 'super' status comes from him having 2 belts in the division. I kinda hope he get's stripped of the WBO-version. What will WBA do then???????
