WBA super middleweight champ Mikkel Kesslerīs defense against German challenger Danilo Haussler appears now to be on for October 25 somewhere in Germany. Danish media have speculated in Kiel or Flensburg, where Kessler resided for a brief spell, as possible sites but according to Sauerland Eventīs CEO it wonīt be in neither of these towns close to the Danish border. Nothing is set yet but Kesslerīs former stablemate - and gymmate Mads Larsen could be fighting on the undercard. [details]

That was late. It's in the same weekend as Lucien Bute defends against Librado Andrade so there'll be some focus on the SMW's late Oct.
The downside is that this probably'll be Kessler's last fight this year.
Haussler is already training. He might overdo it with so much time left untill the fight. On the other hand he needs the workout after his long spell of inactivity. -
I'm confused, a headline and article on Kessler, with only a quarter of it actually on Kessler, lol. Kessler should really bust this guy up and move on to better things, he deserves it and time isn't unlimited. Doubt this will be watched much at all and isn't helping his record or name unfortunately.Comment

Sometimes I get frustrated with Kessler. He has so much potential but fights against average opponents like this guy and Sartison are not going to help him out. He should be absolutely bossing SMW right now I think.Comment
