Exactly! @130 & 135 he left no questions unanswered. Cant say the same for his career from 140 on up.

Listen, Floyd was "the man" at the lower weights, but u can only live off of those wins for so long. I dont see how u can beat a guys like Gatti, Baldomir, and Oscar, then have the nerve to say that u defeated the "best" at 140/147/154. On top of that, his fanboys echo him.

and as a floyd fan (the fighter, not the entertainer) he DID avoid them.
I'll rephrase so it is clear. I think there is one fighter that Floyd avoided in his entire career and that is Margarito. Let's face it, Margarito is one tough SOB who nobody really knew about before Cotto. Such is life, this kind of crap happens all the time in boxing.

As far as Cotto, goes I don't think Floyd avoided him. About the time Cotto was making a name for himself at WW against Judah and Mosley, Floyd had big (and I mean big) $ fights with Hatton and ODLH. I doubt there is a fighter out there that would have turned down those fights. If you need an example of a fighter wanting $'s rather than a tougher challenge than see Margarito going after ODLH.

As far as retiring goes, I think he is just done with the sport. Some people will agree, some will disagree, such is life.

Floyd did avoid Cotto but there comes a time to cut all the threads about Floyd ducking out. He is retired and is no longer relevant, Deevel just from reading your threads and posts anyone would think you have a little thing for Floyd, Miguel wouldnt be to impressed now would he, finding out that his little boytoy has a fantasy about another boxer
