While i dont think shane would be stopped, i will come back to this thread when he fights mayorga, because that will seriously give us a little indication on how shane would do in a FIGHT at this point in his career. you know?

I think Shane isn't hungry anymore against Cotto he was talking like
"this kind of fighter I fought so often, it's always the same"
"I know all he can do, he won't stand a chance"
"ah how training is going? ah I'm training my son for the last weeks"

I think Shane got pull it out. It would be difficult however, Shane has a couple more fight left in hime. Past prime or not, Shane is still an elite fighter and probably the most naturally gifted fighter Margarito would have faced in he's career. Is anyone else bugged off the face that Shane is the only Household name left in the WW division? With Mayweather gone, Shane Mosely will be the only active fighter that your grandmother's heard off. Come to think about Shane is probably the only fighter that deliver these title holders the possiblity of a PPV fight, outside of a Cotto/Margarito rematch. Hell I'd outright favor Shane over Clotty and Berto if he were to fight them.

I agree with Temoc...Shane is not in his prime anymore. Why give the Marg haters more to talk about?

Margarito wins this against the past his prime Mosley. too much workrate by margarito for mosley to be able to handle it. a mosley of a couple years ago would have been a very intersting fight

Dude honestly Shane if he fought the right fight has the tools even at 35 to beat margarito. He still has good foot movement and a hard hook to the body which he can double up to the body and the head. he puncehs from many differnt angles and like I read in an earlier post has the fight experience to know when to clinch. Clinching could have helpd Cotto to outlast Margarito but that is neither here no there. Mosely would give Margarito a hell of a fight and I wuld pay to watch it. I don't know if I would pay to see Paul "The Freak" Williams fight Margarito or Clottey or wanna watch Zab quit on his stool for that matter. Cotto Margarito rematch will be pointless unless Cotto has proper time to heal from the last fight and a tune up match or two prior to taking on Margarito again. Money May aint coming out of retirement to fight Margarito and Oscar rather fight Manny then Margarito anyway.

Point being said Mosely vs Margarito would be entertaining and worth paying to watch. i also think it would be very competitive and like I have stated before Shane has the ability to chaqnge his style mid fight which can confuse some. So if Shanes plan is not Mayorga and staying at 154 then maybe he comes down to Welter Weight or maybe margarito goes up to 154 to fight Shane?
