You are kidding right? I mean, you don't really think either one of the "Cutslo" brothers are that good do you?

"Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World" will not be said in the ring for years to come - long after the 2 or 3 years either of the Klit Bros will be around....

.....That my friends is the real reason he won't unify. If he got the opportunity to fight the King fighters without selling his soul then he most assuredly would unify.

one little thing everyone is neglecting to acknowledge:

Vitali hasn't beaten anyone who matters yet

kirk's done; corrie would have been done if he hadn't destroyed vitali's brother on short notice; Vitali's next biggest wins of his career are against Larry Donald and Herbie Hide. Now he's fighting a guy who was down 5 points in 4 rounds before KO'ing an injured Tyson. vitali's gonna clean up WHAT?

I think Ruiz can beat him. Maybe Rahman and Golota - someone who can test his chin better than anyone has recently. The dude was wobbled in Round 1 vs. Sanders.

I'm not saying he's not potentially the best guy out there - but he hasn't done enough to really deserve the mass praise. He needs to Beat Ruiz. Or Beat Byrd (and make it count)

Or if you're not going to mess with King fighters, fine - beat Toney, Tyson, Guinn, Barrett, Mesi - but for heaven's sake, Vit, at least get a respectable winning streak together before the boxing world anoints you King...

I'm not saying he's not the man, but this is a sorry resume for recognized heavyweight champ. We've had this conversation before, Neuraxis. Maybe it's not Vit's fault - but he needs a convincing win over Williams and an immediate plan to establish himself as "the man." 'Cause a lot of us aren't ready to buy it yet...

Yes we have had this conversation before. You are really underestimating Sanders this time though. He landed a flush shot on Vitali and it didn't put him down. Sanders KD'd Rahman and dominated the early rounds against him which he was unable to do against Vitali.
