    Did Trinidad influence Oscar/Mosley?

After Oscar's late round theatrics against Trinidad did that influence the way he fought against Mosley? Meaning, if the Trinidad fight had not happened would Oscar have tried to box Mosley more than what actually went down?

Tito couldnt believe he won the Oscar fight. Watch it again and pay close attention to Tito's reaction. Oscar won the fight for him.

To answer your question, most likely. I think the Trinidad loss has influenced every single one of his fights.

I do actually have to do some work once in awhile.

I think Oscar's career would have been much different had that fight with Trinidad gone his way. I think he boxes Mosley rather than brawls and if that is the case than his odds of winning that fight increase greatly. He could have been rated P4P #1 and his place in history would be much greater than it is now.

Hard to say because he was pretty much fighting the way he fought Mosley for most of his fights, he only implemeted so much movement and boxing against Trinidad, I don't remember him implementing that style against anyone else so I think it's hard to say if he would have fought Mosley differently from the way he did.

True...Oscar purposely developed a style in the pros that was geared towards being crowd pleasing. I just think things would have been much different for him.

Things would have definitely be different for him, I'm just not sure if he would have fought Mosley with a different style.

I am not sure, Oscar has never really been too sure what kind of fighter he wanted to be, sometimes he was all action, sometimes he was a straight up boxer using movement, i mean, think about it, the Chavez fights, the Trinidad fight, the mosley fight, each one of those you saw a different de la hoya, each one of those he was critisized, Oscar had a pretty difficult reputation to live up to in my opinion, some complained he wasnt enough "mexican warrior" some complained his boxing skills and defense needed work (getting dropped early in his career)

Truthfully, i think oscar was pretty unfocused going into that mosley fight with alot of outside distractions influencing that fight more than anything, like recording a ****ing album.
