This makes no sense, there is a huge difference here, nobody who was calling out mayweather actually had ever beaten him and taken his title away from him, you can say what you want about ducking, cowardice or whatever, but this time is much worse, you have a man calling you out who beat you, you dont have to step anything up in that case. I dont care if williams has 1 fan on this planet, he will always be able to hold that over margaritos head.

Exactly, the only reason i even remotely somewhat believe goosen is because of the fact that he worked very hard to get that first fight with Margarito, either way, someone says 8million, i can always throw out 4 million until margarito takes the fight.

I guess its only ok to believe promoters and their bull**** offers when it pertains to a fighter they dont like. However unlike mayweather, this is a realistic possibility and not meant to simply conjure up a smear campaign, this is a guy who already took his title and is looking to get welterweight supremecy. Win or lose margarito has nothing to lose by taking this fight if he cant get oscar.

I don't think a rubber match would be a huge problem. Williams would probably dispose Quintana in under 7 rounds. I think the first round knockout was a little fluke as Carlos couldn't get his momentum going.

WILLIAMS HAS A BELT, this is a unification, you are using the exact same argument mayweather uses, however there is a huge difference, THE MAN BEAT MARGARITO, he BEAT him, he WON, no matter how you spin it, he won.
