Bhop vs Pavlik 10 rounds or 12 rounds?

I was watching the boxingscene.com video interview of Pavlik and they ask him, "Did I read correctly that this will be a 10 round fight?" Pavlik responded saying he has no idea.

If it's a 10 round fight, I would imagine that would be a huge plus for hopkins, considering he tired late against Calzaghe.

All championship fights are 12 rounds. If no belt is involved which there isnt then it could be 10 rounds but that seems silly with these marquee names.

I think it'll be a 12 round fight, big name fighters fighting each other don't need titles anymore to go 12.

I guess Hopkins must be in really bad shape and begged for a 10 rounder. Maybe in a few years when he's 55 he'll still be doing 4 rounds of hugging and rabbit punching.

According to boxrec, it is scheduled for 12. It has been a long, long time since Hopkins was in a 10 round fight.
