Pacquiao's advantages over De La Hoya

    Manny Pacquiao:

    1. He is 5 years younger.
    2. He is faster than Oscar.
    3. He is a pressure fighter.
    4. He will be stronger as he moves up in weight.
    5. He can take alot of punches.

    Oscar De La Hoya:

    1. He has not fought at 147 since 2001.
    2. He has always had trouble with fast opponents.
    3. He does not want to get hurt at this stage of his career.
    4. He will be dehydrated and weak to make the weight.
    5. Oscar gases out and takes too many punches now.

This is a funny thread. This fight requires no analysis. Pacquiao is going to get destroyed. He is one of my favourite fighters but no way in hell does a natural featherweight move up to welterweight and beat Oscar. No way in hell. This fight will be a total mismatch and should be over very quickly.

DLH's advantages outweigh his disadvantages by far.

                  Here's something to think about

Before the Diaz fight, many thought Pacman wouldn't do well against someone bigger than him. In this case it was Diaz being the bigger lightweight. Now look at what happened to him. ODLH being bigger than Pacman may seem like an obvious advantage to Oscar but can we speculate on another fight being won by the tenacious Pride of the Philippines? I say that he can do it. Some skeptics have already been proven wrong.
