But spanish is also a white european language. English isnt any less white european than spanish, you are really just interchanging languages, not intergrating one "white language" to some minority created language, that doesnt make any sense to me.

Well yes, Spanish is a "white" language but the difference is spanish is a romance language. It's roots are in Latin. English roots are indo European, West germanic.

Therefore the "Anglo" influence.

Actually they are a little more than just euphemisms. Yes they "substitute" some words for others but ANGlicismos, ANGLO meaning Anglo Saxon (basically white Europeans).

It's an influence of English culture and words that has infiltrated Puerto Rico more so than other Latin countries becuase of the American presence on the island.

I live in Miami and I hear the "spanglish" that is spoken by Puerto Ricans and it's definitly not an uncommon thing.

Those words do NOT mean we are better at speaking Enligsh anyway. It's true that the American influence is obvious, but like I said, the vast majority of people DO NOT speak English here, and almost all of them use those English words every now and then.

And rarely will you find a TRUE Puerto Rican speaking Spanglish. If you see that in Miami they may be Puerto Rican-American, but those who were born and raised here do not enough English on a regular basis to describe what we speak as "Spanglish"

I am from the bay area, there were huge rallies here in oakland for immigrant rights etc, and personally as someone who served in our united states air force i can tell you right now the whole point of our country is so that someone can burn the flag, protest and do what they want to do without being persecuted. People dont hate america, they hate hypocrisy, they hate being worked to pick fruit and work construction, while being told they have to leave. They wouldnt be here if these buisnesses werent hiring them, yet politicians turn around and act like a mexican doesnt clean their home or landscape their lawns, thats what they were protesting.

NOT REAALLLLYYYY i was born and raised in puerto rico (altamesa, guynabo) .. live there until i was 19 ( i am 27 now) and i am speak Spanglish all day long.... lol when i came here i dint speak English but i underthang it completely , it took me like 2 years to speak it right but i still say and write things the Wrong way...
