If the fight goes 12 rounds, Margarito wins. If the fight is not in Puerto Rico, Margarito wins. If you had actually followed Margarito's career rather than criticizing fights you've never watched, you'd realize Margarito comes on in the second half of any of his fights that go past 5 rounds because of his stamina. He has more energy and more power in the later rounds than his opponents. Even if you've only watched the Cotto, Santos, and Williams fights you should realize this...

The difference between the old Margarito and the new one is that he's got enough stamina to go a full 12 rounds nonstop. In his recent fights he has been throwing volume from the opening bell and destroying his opponents for that very reason. That's why I give Williams no chance of beating Margarito. He was lucky to get the win in the first fight given how badly Margarito outclassed him in the second half of the fight when Margarito actually started fighting...

Williams backed up the entire fight and threw punches from max range. I swear people don't even watch the fights, they just **** talk based on hearsay...

He was backing up the entire fight. No one said he ran. But he sure as **** was not standing his ground until he had no choice to stand and trade because he was completely gassed...

You think these guys make it to the top of the welterweights performing fake shows?

Ok, i have never seen any of his fights, since my opinion disagrees with yours, in the distinction that he lost both of those fights, one with williams, the other with santos, that means i am just a hater arguing by the simplified means of "hearsay". I will just go ahead and concede since you wont see it any other way, and i am just going to tell you what you want to hear. The first margarito fight i saw was against hercules kyvelos, i have seen every single one of his fights since then mostly because hes usually in some exciting matchups, but seeing as how you all seem to know more than me, have seen more of his fights than me, i should just go ahead and throw in the towel under the basis of disagreeing that:

                1. Margarito has ALWAYS started slow, his entire career, this "starting" fast thing only started when he lost to williams and was trying to rebound against johnson, he ALWAYS came out like that, thats just how he fights, Castillo is the same way.

                2. Williams style and size can offset what margarito is trying to do, Williams already showed he can go the full 12 rounds, and likely if he fights margarito again, he would be prepared for the exact same thing.

                3. Having a difference in opinion from how you see things doesnt mean i just pulled it out of my ass, i NEVER speak on things i didint see, or dont have knowledge about, i cant say the same for everyone else save for a few posters, but never do i just jump in a thread and spit a bunch of nonsensical bull****, but since i disagree with you, that constitutes the latter, whatever.
