..You're Margarito, Who Do You Pick: DE LA HOYA/WILLIAMS?...

    Pretty simple question.

One has the casual fans. The other has the hardcore fans.

One has more money and pushes you over the top if you're in Margarito's position. The other has the ability to get you a good amount of money and silences all doubters.

Both have the ability to be exciting fights.

Both would help your legacy for different reasons.

Both allow you to have big fights AFTER the fight and hold a lot more cards if you win.

One might say you could beat De La Hoya, and some say you were getting to Williams in the first fight.

    So, who do you pick?

    Vote. Discuss.

De La Hoya, it would be more entertaining than a Williams fight plus he gets a lot mo money. I also think it's an easier fight for Margarito.
He can always fight Williams after De La Hoya. I just think since he's at the top now he should get himself a decent payday before he risks getting beat again by Williams and sliding back down the ladder where he will be fighting for a hella lot less money.

Edit: I didn't mean he will get beaten by Williams btw. I think he would win the rematch but it's a lot more of a risk than fighting a shot De La Hoya.

The difference is De La Hoya isn't going to fight him, Williams will.

DLH in a fantasy world where DLH would actually fight him. DLH is where the $ is, but the Williams rematch needs to happen. Paul would still be there waitin when he got done whoopin DLH. Too bad we'll never see it.

Personally if If De La Hoya were up for taking the fight (which he isn't) I'd pick him for money and exposure. Then try and avenge the Williams loss. In his current situation though De La Hoya won't fight him so anyone other than De La Hoya is unacceptable unless his name is Williams.

Good points. In a perfect world, if you're Margarito.. It goes De La Hoya at the end of this year, and Williams sometime next year.
