Sorry, I stand corrected. Mayweather v Williams is EXACTLY like SRL v Hearns.

overall skillset, mayweather is better than sugar ray leonard. williams is a little more elusive than hearns, an di do not see him hurting floyd at all, but i do see floyd going to williams body a lot better than sugar went to hearns, and floyd can hurt williams to th ebody, whether physically or mentally, and williams said himself in an interview, that he'd be crazy to try to outbox floyd, he knows he can't do it. floyd is also too fast for williams and could block most of paul's shots. floyd also has a harder jab thab paul does. this fight is nothing like leonard/hearns. hearns had a better jab and sugar threw more flurries than floyd. floyd is a smarter fighter than sugar way and williams moves better than tommy. tommy hit harder as did sugar compared too these two, but floyd was faster overall than sugar was on the offense and defense. paul is faster than tommy was.

floyd beats paul williams, no doubt. sugar had trouble with hearns a lot more than floyd would have with paul, trust me.

well, there are no similarities even the size difference. mayweather is small than leonard and williams is bigger than hearns. the size difference is much greater with mayweather-williams. the fight wouldn't go anything similar either. not nearly as entertaining for the casual fan. but I would love to see how this fight would play out. either guy could win it although I'm leaning towards mayweather but williams can win it with the right game plan.

Not the same. Floyd is a complete fighter where as SRL isn't. SRL isn't nearly as defensive or as accurate as Floyd. SRL had to keep away from Hearns for like 75% of the fight and got the K.O win. Even tough he won by K.O, if it would have gone to the scorecards SRL would have CLEARLY lost. Ofcourse, Paul doesn't have Hearn's power, but Paul is dangrous. Its dangrous to have a fighter who is 6'2 has a serious reach advantage on you and throws 80-100 punches per round. It won't look like SRL vs Hearns. It'll just be Mayweather moving side to side and countering. Mayweather will be very defensive in this fight and will counter tons, still I'd say paul would be Mayweather's biggest threat at 147 and if the Paul that fought Margarito comes in fight night, I would NOT put my money on Floyd.
