Hearns could punch like a mule but had a weak chin, Williams slaps but has a good chin.

Nope. I don't see any similarities besides the fact Williams is tall.

personally, i could see willaims getting an early lead due to his reach south paul stance and work rate and mayweather havin to get in on the inside like he did against N'dou to pull it out of the bag.

They fight very differently, the only similarity I can see is the height difference which would be even bigger than Leonard-Hearns.

Well, Mayweather, other than being not as good and a ton more defensive isn't that different from Leonard I suppose.

Its a stretch to compare Williams to Hearns in anything other than his ability to go from WW to MW though. Hearns could box excellently and punch hard. I'm not sure Williams can do either.

I never said he hits as hard as Hearns did, I said hes starting to sit on his punches and he walked through Quintana easier then Cotto did and showed what his power could be like.

first off floyd is not as good as srl. sugar would whoop floyd at 47. 2nd williams is not 1/2 the fighter tommy hearns was. he is still young and needs time to see how he ends up. but i still don't ever see him near the level of tommy.
