Archie Moore I believe has had more fight than anybody in the history of boxing, he's also lost a lot, which is understandable. Don't read his bia, The Ageless Warrior cause it ain't good.

I have Zaghe, Archie has lost to a lot lesser fighters than above average Joe.

Sorry I posted this in the wrong section. Anyway from the 5-6 fights I have seen of Moore including that great fight with Yvon Durelle he is much more skilled than Calzaghe great upper body movement a shell like defence and decent footwork he would also throws a lot of feints to make you throw first then counter. The problem Archie had was fighters with speed in the Patterson fight he just couldn’t cope with the speed accuracy and power of Floyd. Calzaghe has the speed to give Moore trouble but I don’t think he is accurate or powerful enough, I see Moore landing a few of his powerful right hands and knocking out Calzaghe in the about round 10.

calzaghe would get KO'd by archie

within 6 easily, if hopkins could drop calzaghe archie might have killed him

I highly doubt that anyone that voted for Calzaghe has even seen more fight. He would definitely beat Calzaghe. He was a very good counter puncher and could exploit Calzaghe's flaws and he was also naturally bigger. He was also brilliant on the inside and a very hard puncher at light heavyweight. Calzaghe was dropped and countered off balanced against Hopkins. Moore would counter him with harder and more effectcive shots and would keep the momentum going. He would be too much.

Moore by UD or late stoppage.
