Let me set all you people straight with the truth:

#1 - The reason Marg is calling out DLH is simple....MONEY! Why can't you guys see that? It's not that he doesn't want to fight Clottey or P. Williams, he wants the big payday and he deserves one after the long road he's taken in boxing.

#2 - DLH was counting on Cotto winning. How do I know this? DLH himself told me face to face in his book signing in Miami. He knew that DLH vs Cotto is a bigger PPV money fight because of the Mexico vs PR angle.

#3 - I agree, I don't want to see DLH vs Pacquiao because it won't have any impact on the fight game and a no win situation for the fans. I think the reason DLH came up with this opponent is because he's looking for the guy who is the biggest draw money wise and since Cotto lost, Pac was the only name out there.

#4 - I think DLH should fight Margarito, since Marg is the champion but I don't know if we will see this fight. For the diehard fight fans this would be a great fight to watch but I don't know if the general public would buy into this. DLH thinks Marg just isn't the big enough draw.

I can't believe De la Hoya cannot find a better opponent in his weightclass for this fight I'd rather have him just retire than fight Pac-man. A fan's request I'd pay $75 to watch him and Margs go at it on PPV especially if it takes place in Mexico and takes place at 154 what a fight u get the best De la Hoya at this weight and much more fierce Margarito. Gimme Margarito with a Split Decision win after each fighter tastes the canvas late in the fight. Instant Classico. De La Hoya will be remembered as a true Legend and Margs stock will rise until the next crop of talented fighters makes moves in about 3 to 4 years.
