JUST THOUGHT ID START A WAR BETWEEN MARGO AND FLOYD FANS.....HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

GOT TO GIVE PROPS TO MARGO FOR BEATIN COTTO BUT FLOYD WOULD DO THIS TO MARGO
sorry but floyd probably loses this fight. not that i think he should but cotto outlanded margarito while landing the cleaner harder punches which i would also call more effective if they seemed to have any effect on tony and was still down on the cards after 10. I felt it was 8-2 cotto with one or two close rounds. I could see floyd landing twice as many punches while throwing 1/2-1/3 the punches tony does and still losing on the cards. it really depends on the judges, floyd probably knows this and that is why he will never fighter him. it has the perfect setting for him to thoroughly outbox his opponent and still lose.

WRONG AGAIN....LISTEN COTTO WAS OUTBOXING MARGO AND HES NOT EVEN A TRUE BOXER HENCE THE REASON WHY HE GOT TIRED BUT ON THE OTHER HAND FLOYD IS AND ALSO HAS BETTER STANIMA AND A WAAAAAYYYY BETTER DEFENSE SO MARGO WOULD GET POT SHOTTED,COUNTERED, AND MADE MISS ALL NIGHT TO A UD IN OLD SCHOOL BOXING FASHION....I MEAN FLOYDS DAD DONT LIKE HIS SON AND HE EVEN SAID THAT FLOYD WOULD ARTURO GATTI MARGO...SO ONCE AGAIN JUST LOOK AT THE STYLES NOT YOUR FAVORITE FIGHTER AND THEN JUDGE......PEACE

Mayweather's toughest fight was his two fights with Castillo, whose style is similar to Margarito. Castillo was close to winning the first fight. Margarito is better than Castillo in every way, I don't see Mayweather beating him.

lol, Margarito is better than Castillo in everyway?

Also, you're still talking about a 23-24 year old Mayweather against a prime Castillo, and a fight that happened almost 7 years ago. Interesting.

In the aftermath of the Cotto v Margarito fight I said in another thread Cotto and Margarito could beat Mayweather now I have had a chance to think about it , I think Mayweather would box his way to a points victory over Margarito , I think Cotto has a better chance against Mayweather ?

Cotto has a 10x better chance at beating Mayweather than Margarito does.

Mayweather vs Margarito will look similar to Mayweather vs Baldomir, except Margarito will throw a few more punches, which might win him a couple more rounds than Baldomir did.

Mayweather wins 118-110, or something similar on all 3 cards.

I also think this would make for a boring fight. I particularly, whether some of you call it boxing, do not like all the running around the ring all night long. I like fighters to stand there and knock each others crap out. Sure defense is also a very important part of the sport but when Mayweather does more running than a marathon runner than boxing I just rather not watch it. If he is as conditioned, faster, stronger than Marg then duck his shots, rock and roll but stop all the running around the ring like a *****. It gets old.

Mayweather would outbox Margarito for 12 rounds, he can slip and counter all night long. Margarito would not be able to hit Mayweather at all, Cotto was able to outbox Margarito for the first 6 rounds, Mayweather would be able to do that for 12 rounds.
