For the millionth time December is Oscar's last fight. Margarito wants a huge payday. If he doesn't get the Oscar fight then he'll fight either Clottey or Williams. Floyd gets bashed because he retired after he got his paydays with Oscar and Hatton. If Margarito fought Oscar, beat him and then retired he would get bashed too.

Floyd is retired now obviously, So your telling me if Floyd fought Margarito in 2006 when nobody thought he was the best you would be satisfied?

Williams has unfinished business also before he fights Margarito.......Quintana beat him in the first match. Yes, Paul won by knockout the 2nd time around but still, they should settle it for a 3rd time to see who comes out on top.

Nobody's making excuses for Floyd... everybody knows why he wanted to fight DLH. Everybody knows why Margarito wants to fight DLH... but you either have to say it's ok for both to do it or for neither, is the whole point.

The justifications and standards are clearly different, i think margarito and floyd did alot to get their respective paydays, because i am not a hater, honestly, i am happy to see a guy like margarito who i think is limited, make the money hes making after being largely ignored by the boxing elite. I like to see guys who work hard get what they deserve, i felt the same about mayweather, ignored for the first 8 years of his career until he finally got what hed been looking for.

i dont understand how a fighter who was universally seen as the number one fighter p4p, and the linear welterweight champion, no matter who he beat for it, would have to be questioned as to why he "deserved" the fight. he was undefeated and p4p number 1, oscar was not campaigning at welterweight, therefore floyds lack of a great resume at that weight means nothing, he was seen as the best fighter on the planet going into 2 straight years, thats reason enough, you people are being real ****** about this.
