People were wrong to flame PBF for fightin DLH the 1st time. Wantin to do it again while Cotto was waitin for his shot was bull**** tho. He needed to fight the #1 challenger or retire, and he made the right choice. Tony's the man now but Paul earned his shot by beatin him before. If Tony can get DLH instead of us havin to watch DLH against Pac, great. But if not, and I'm sure not is what DLH is thinkin, Williams-Marg II better happen.

Im not making excuses for Floyd. Everybody who's watches Boxing understands that fighting DLH pretty much trumps any other fight because it's the biggest payday any fighter can get. I don't blame either guys for trying to get that fight. I do agree Marge probably deserves that payday. It's just that all his fans were all over Floyd for not fighting him and instead going for paydays, which I agree I wish Floyd would have fought top notch WW. It's just hypocritical now that Marge fans are making excuses for him to fight DLH when they were all over Floyd for doing it.

I had no problem with Floyd fighting DLH the first time at all. My problems came with people trying to give him full credit for beating a 34 year old guy with one fight in more than two and a half years and 9 years after his peak at #1 p4p. And then the rematch.

DLH now has at least fought 3 times in the last 15 months, won two of those, SD to the #1 p4p in the other. Margarito has been a pro for 15 years, mostly fighting for peanuts and just broke down and stopped a top 5 p4p fighter. I think he deserves a megapayday.
