Honetly Hatton needs to hear it uncut and unrealed...he is NOT as good as the public in his home country thinks he is. he may beat Paulie and it is a good match with Paulie for both fighters. Paulie has glass hands and good defense and Hatton comes forward and lets you hit him. Should make for an entertaining fight and will make Paulie some $$$$. As far as Floyd Sr. being able to teach and old dog new tricks well if the dog is willing to learn then so be it and who better then a loud mouthed Floyd Sr to tell it to him like it is. i can see it now "look Ricky your slow your lazy on Deffense and you slack between fights so bad that you make it hard for you to adjust to your fight weight. You need to stop eating and drinking like a pig and keep your hands up when you come in on fighters like Money may and maybe you wont get knocked the F out next time" We will see and the futuer surely holds maybe a rematch but I see a better money making opportunity with manny and better chance of Hatton winning that fight then against may at 147. if he takes on Roach as his trainer then Manny is out but with Floyd sernior he leaves both options open for discussion.I just don't see the personalities fitting. I don't know what Mayweather Sr is like in private but he comes across as a loudmouth and Floyd paints him as a bully. I don't see that clicking with a down to earth Englishman like Hatton at all, I can't see him taking criticism from a know-it-all sort. Personality-wise it seems to me Roach would be better for Hatton.Comment

Ricky Hatton is near his last days anyway...The only fights for him are Paulie, Pac Man, and if he chooses to move up in weight maybe Cotto?Floyd Mayweather Sr. has confirmed that he is under heavy consideration to become the new trainer of Manchester's Ricky Hatton. Several days ago, Hatton fired longtime trainer Billy Graham, who trained him since he was a teenager. Details of why Graham was fired have not been revealed, but a rift has been rumored since Hatton's knockout loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. last December. [details]Comment
