Good for Hatton bad for FLoyd Sr. Its hard to teach on old dog new tricks. Like Defense and Speed. With Floyd Sr. Hatton beats Paulie and get the Pacman fight.

I can see it now. Ricky with the best defense in the game and undisputed P4P#1.....or possibly not.

I just don't see the personalities fitting. I don't know what Mayweather Sr is like in private but he comes across as a loudmouth and Floyd paints him as a bully. I don't see that clicking with a down to earth Englishman like Hatton at all, I can't see him taking criticism from a know-it-all sort. Personality-wise it seems to me Roach would be better for Hatton.

I think it's a good move by Ricky Hatton if he brings in Floyd Mayweather Jr. as his new trainer. I'm sure Hatton's style would be changed and I think for the better.

                Hahaha

I agree though, floyd sr will just improve aspects of hattons abilitys, he wont change his whole style. Hopefully this won't be another hamed scenario. (new trainer ****s the fighters style up turning him into a grade c fighter...)

Imagine? Ricky hattons pressure attacking style with immense defence? Would be top 5 pfp defitnely!

Floyd Mayweather is a very good trainer. He will no doubt help Hatton in terms of technicality and defense.

Did Hatton's group made an official statement on hiring or even considering Sr as his new trainer?
                    Or its just Sr's wishlist?

Ricky would never have the temptation to cheat on his wife as all the birds in America are obese.
