Pavlik nuthuggers, how does your man beat Calzaghe?

Here is Mikkel Kessler in the 8th round adopting a similar style to Kelly trying to press the action against Joe in a desperate attempt to get back in to the fight.

All I see is Kessler punching air or Calzaghe's gloves, Pavlik will be punching air all night because he is much slower than Kessler. When the fight is announced I will bet all my points on a Calzaghe KO/TKO. Notice how Kessler was backing up at the end of the 8th and was clearly hurt but oh no, Mr Calzaghe "can't punch."

You are truly hopeless. You take every chance you get to try and discredit american fighters.

I agree, pavlik stands little chance of beating Calzaghe or Kessler and Hopkins will come out of his fight with Kelly as the winner.

Kessler best win was against Mundine
Pavlik best win was over JT twice the same man who beat HOPKINS TWICE

            Totally wrong there pal.

I'm a fan of Mayweather, Pavlik and Jones. Don't take it to heart.

Taylor couldn't KO Pavlik. Calzaghe sure as well won't.

                Who....Calzaghe also beat.

Kesslers definitely the #2 at SMW and you don't get to that point for nothing. I can't wait until he fights a so called 'name' so that ones sorted..

Taylor couldn't KO Spinks or Ouma either.

I'm 100% sure Calzaghe would stop both of those, albeit at a higher weight (168),but he would.

I'm a big fan of both Calzaghe and Pavlik, although I find myself defending Calzaghe a lot more on here. If Calzaghe boxes at his best and Pavlik boxes at his current best, Calzaghe wins a clear UD.

Pavlik is tailor-made for Calzaghe. He punches straight, he fights off the front foot, he isn't particularly fast and he is predictable with his combinations. Pavlik will need to change to beat Calzaghe, because his power punching just won't be enough. Calzaghe's chin is too good and as Pavlik's punches are predictable, I doubt he'll land too many anyway.
