The rematch was a clear win, but it wasn't a one-sided domination that people like to make it out as these days. He still gave Floyd a tougher fight than any other fighter in his career, other than the first time (I think the rematch was tougher than the Jesus Chavez fight, which I actually saw as pretty one-sided... Lederman's scorecard blew in that fight)... he took 3-4 rounds off of him, and no one has done that since, other than ODLH, when he was working the jab.

      AGree 100%.

Not only is his run overlooked, but he's totally underrated by the neophyte boxing fans that plague this site.

Some even have the nerve to claim he's not an ATG LW or even a HOFamer.

      Noobz.

Being in possibly the greatest fight of all time is enough to get him ATG status imo.

Yeah, it has to be one way or the other. You either count them as absolute wins and losses, or... you have to call into question the Mayweather loss, Johnston win (which I know nothing about... haven't seen either fight) and Casamayor win.
I dont think neither Johnston nor Casamayor was injured when they fought Castillo, he won on the cards, close fights. The thing with me is how you win also, saying he had one of the best runs at 135, I cant disagree because I havent taken the time to weigh it against some other fighters, good discussion though, I loved Castillo and thought he didnt get the credit he deserved, supremely skillful.

My favorite thing in the world from him was the way he got inside on Corrales every time... he'd jab to the body and then follow his jab, to get right in his opponent's chest, where he was doing all of his good work.
