I think Steward has wet dreams about training Cotto

"OMG?!?!? Cotto is THE BEST short distance puncher since a prime Mike Tyson!!!"

There are DEFINITELY -100 PCT- moments when a trainer is the most important person in a boxers life... many times in the corner between rounds it is a thing where a trainer literally holds the fate of an often fragile (the boxer) mind in the palm of his hands. What he says and does or doesnt say and doesnt do in those few moments they have to do their work can make or break a fight and can change -for better or worse- the direction a fight is going. I've seen many, many moments in fights when the trainer made all the difference

          I agree.

However, I've never witnessed this happening with Team Judah.

In my opinion Cotto fares much better with Nacho Beristain

I wasnt necessarily saying Cotto should go with Steward, just pointing out Steward's comment.

I think Mayweather Sr. tightening up his D would be awesome.

Did Mayweather Sr. REALLY "tighten up" Oscar's defense? Did he help Hanshaw vs RJ? Did had do ANYTHING better or differently after spending time with May Sr? Think about it.

They do not train themselves...and on fight night they certainly have input given to them in the corner.... fighters come back to that corner and ANTICIPATE the words from the trainer
