Margarito's big long arms would struggle with in-fighting too, something Cotto never tested.

Hatton could win, and I'd love to see the fight.
You are crazy to think Ricky Hatton has a punchers chance against Margarito. Ricky Hatton is not known as a big puncher, he get most of his knockout's by wearing his opponents down, much like JCC did. If he stays away i give him 6 round before he get's ko'd, if he stands toe to toe i give him 3 rounds.

Hatton struggles with welters because of the size problems. I don't think fighting the biggest, strongest welter would be a very good idea.

Cotto didn't go to margarito's twiggy body

As for the "scorecard" in your sig, you do realize that the three official judges had it 89-81, 89-81 and 88-82 all in favor of PBF at the time of the stoppage, right? Hatton was never even in the fight, to be honest, and you are a pathetic joke.
just like the referee was neutral, how convenient

Because he would've gotten knocked out 5 rounds sooner if he did...just like Hatton would.

It's amazing to see the lengths to which some people will go to blind themselves from the truth. You're like an ostrich with its head stuck in the sand.

No he wouldn't. Cotto's problem is that when things got close he just stood there and took the beating, he didn't even try to clinch to smother Margarito. He seemed to think Margarito couldn't hurt him. Hatton would smother Margarito up close and the twig wouldn't be able to get his big angular punches off.

And you're an American ****head convinced it was a fair fight.

Picking him off with a body shot? Get real.

Ricky throwing low means he eats more heavy hands upstairs, no doubt. I give you props for supporting your guy, but he's really only got puncher's chance against a long-limbed, very heavy handed, high output, very very durable and motivated Margarito.

the long limbs mean he can't punch a fighter in close (or at least takes an age about doing so).
