    Acutally, by boy MT102879 got it from the get go.

    Chavez wore the band initially to protect him from "espiritus malos" during his early fights. The band was known as "la cinta roja" and it "protected" Chavez in his most important fights.

    Margarito brought the same band into his fight with Cotto in a tribute to his idol, JC Superstar. It seems to have worked for him as he was able to LAY THEE SMACKETH DOWN on poor Miguel Cotto.

    MT, you got ur 2K, and that english dude, quit complaining.

            Miguel Cotto has the same genetics, mindset as a Bull
