and thats what makes it interesting.
My man, not for nothing, but how can you write THIS yet debate who Floyd should have or haven't fought on the other thread? This is all I want. The best against best. Contrasting styles etc. I don't know you on here well enough to judge you, and Im not going to, but this is like a complete 180. If Im off base, my bad.

      huh?

      Be a realist.

I can honestly say. That if Floyd and Cotto fought 5 times.
Cotto would win 1 of those fights.

His style is not all pressure with Mayweather would Eat up...! Thats why Margarito wouldnt win 1 round against Mayweather.

Cotto can actually box and actually punch. He is the perfect fit for A great fight with floyd. PERIOD

Floyd would have to fight Cotto.
He wouldnt just be able just Do to cotto what he did to hatton.
he would have to fight Cotto just like how he fought Chavez.

And that would be a great fight to watch

He isn't saying they are carbon copies he is just saying that the story is a little similar.

I genuinely believe that Margarito, Cotto and Mayweather are the equivalent of Foreman, Frazier and Ali.

It's Rock paper scissors! Styles make fights,

Cotto (a stocky infighter, frazier) beats a pure boxer, Mayweather (Ali).

Margarito (a tall tough and powerful slugger, Foreman) beats Cotto (Frazier)

Mayweather (Ali) a pure boxer beats A slugger such as Margarito (Foreman!!!

my point was that Mayweather is at a disadvantage at WW. you made it seem like he was on equal terms with everybody. when he is not.

Mayweather and Cotto were in the same division twice 140 and 147.
so i dont compare cotto with the other WW's.

thats why i think Mayweather and cotto would be a fair fight. in which both would have their advantages

Now how much fun would the welterweight division be if all these guys fought each other as well as the great supporting cast around them. Thats what boxing should be about.

                    Great point.

While i think cotto could beat Mayweather.
I dont think he is better than Mayweather.

                    Like I said before.

                    If they fought 5 times.
                    Mayweather would win 4.
but I honetly Believe Cotto would win 1.

and Thats why i want to see this fight.

I will politely disagree with you about the disadvantages you speak of. But even if that is the case, would you not agree that Floyd has advantages in skill and speed over just about every fighter at 147? Like you said, its about styles. But nobody should get a free pass because we might THINK one style would trump another. The best set out to prove it. Thats all Im saying.

I'll be back later. Gotta get to the gym.
