    Top undefeated fighters...

I know undefeated isn't the be-all, end-all of the sport... obviously, considering how high Margarito and Pacquaio are in the sport after their huge recent wins.

But... since Cotto just fell, Mayweather retired, Hatton dropped, Taylor crashed and burned twice, etc. I am interested to see how people would rank the current batch of still undefeateds.

I think the first two are pretty easy...

    1. Joe Calzaghe
    2. Kelly Pavlik

Who else do you have very high in that list? Ivan Calderon? Arthur Abraham?

How about some of the really new blood on the championship level? Juan Manuel Lopez? Timothy Bradley?

Even the up and comers who haven't had their chance to prove themselves yet? Alexander Povetkin? Andre Ward?

Let's hear what you all have to say on the subject!

Definitely Calderon, Guzman, and Abraham. You'd have to put Juanma up there as he has beaten a true champ in Ponce.

You think Ponce > Junior Witter that Timothy Bradley beat? I find that interesting... mostly I have heard how unskilled and bad Ponce is, but I always heard how good Junior Witter was, he could just never get a decent fight.

And shame on me... I forgot Joan Guzman. I have never even seen Calderon fight, and I have seen Guzman... How I remembered the one I've never seen, but not the one who I watched beat Soto, I'll never know.

I don't know that much about Witter so I can't really say. Ponce is unskilled but so is Margarito. Doesn't mean they are bad fighters just they lack traditional boxing technique.

          Heavyweight - Denis Boytsov....22-0 18 KO's

          Cruiserweight - Alexander Alexeev....15-0 14 KO's

          Light Middleweight - Zarubek Baysangurov....19-0 14 KO's

Boytsov, Alexeev, and Baysangurov are all young undefeated super prospects that have tons of potential and will be future champions.

Yeah, but... I guess what separates them at this point is... CHIN. :ha:

Did I miss any on the REALLY top tier of the sport besides Calzaghe and Pavlik Mr. Live Dog?

I think I've heard you mention Boytsov before... I've never heard of the other two. If they are as good as you say, I can't wait til they hit American TV, so I can give them a look!

What can people tell me about Sergei Dzinziruk (or whatever his last name is...)?

I know Wlad Owns thinks he is pretty good, and he holds a win over Daniel Santos, who just emerged with a belt. What can we expect from this guy?
