LOL @ waiting 7 years to fight Trinidad. Trinidad was never even an option. He only became an option when Trinidad went to middleweight and won a belt, immediately hopkins fought him and took his belt. Trinidad fought at middlweight in May of 2001, then fought Hopkins in Sept 2001.
And LOL @ national bias. I pretty much hate america
Wow....
Also, Hopkins had to wait to fight Tito because he only became a middleweight a while before their fight..

So why didn't he fight someone else?
You can't have it both ways, you criticize Calzaghe for the exact same thing saying he should have moved up in weight.
And Hopkins was backed by HBO which means a HUGE deal.
Like who? He fought everyone in the division, all his mandatories, etc.

I'm not the one sitting here criticizing Calzaghe, I'm defending hopkins and pointing out the hypocrisy on your part. I've said in numerous other threads that hopkins and calzaghe are very similar, as far as their careers and resumes go. Both had over 20+ title defenses. Both unified the division. Both had to work hard before getting big paydays. etc.

When was hopkins backed by HBO? After Trinidad? It took a long time before he made real money from the sport (for various reasons).
Hopkins waited 7 years to fight Trinidad.
Calzaghe waited 9 years to fight Lacy.
And this is with Hopkins being backed by HBO (big money). National bias once again, losers.
No offense but that ''joke'' did this to your hero.
Also, Trinidad was a middlweight for only a year when he fought and loss to Hopkins. He took the title from William Joppy and he and Hopkins fought to unify the titles. A year before that, Trinidad was a green welterweight that had not even hit his true prime yet. Where was Hopkins even being mention at this time?
I just meant I have never heard an American on here say they don't like America that is all bro.
yeah, I'm just not nationalistic in the slightest bit, I don't care about the Olympics and **** like that other then watching certain players (regardless of country). I don't have national pride or am patriotic in the slightest bit. However I do represent where I'm from and love the cities I come from.
