  • Miguel Cotto vs Paul Williams who wins now?

After an impressive fight between Cotto and Margarito how would you rate a Paul Williams fight for Cotto?

Can Cotto pull this win or will it be another Margarito vs Cotto re-peat due to Williams size advantage?

I believe Cotto can win this fight, but I am looking for opinions.

Cotto!! He will hit that body all day long... I can see Cotto KOing Williams. Williams cant take the same clean punching that Margarito ate for lunch.

Cotto could not get on the inside of Margarito to attack the body, so I would imagine it would be harder against an even taller man. But I believe Williams could still be susceptible to being out boxed, if he isn't Cotto needs to get on the inside, it is his best chance. Williams is not as good a puncher as Margarito so who knows what could happen.

Size will be a factor, but what you really have 2 look for is each fighters stamina. Williams faded late against Margarito as did Cotto. I beleive Williams is more agressive & it sets up the blueprint of how to newly defeat Miguel Cotto. On the otherhand Williams' style i beleive is more awkward than Margarito's and he is more susceptible to body punches. I f Cotto can make the changes he needs 2 in his weaknesses 2 make them an advantage 4 him he could win. Nevertheless if it is going to be a hard, rough fight for any of the 2, its gotta be for Cotto.

I have not really followed Williams fights but is his chin like Margaritos? Can he handle Cottos power for 12 rounds and not get KO'd ?

This fight would put Cotto back in the WW picture if he wins it.

I seriously doubt that...If Margorito couldnt do it how can Cotto do it...First let me say I know Cotto is the better skilled fighter over Margorito but Margorito does wear you down and he has a chin to absorb punishment....Cotto also has to get inside of that long ass jab Williams has...I seiously dont see how Cotto will KO Williams.

Not right now, but Cotto should fight PW. He can beat him and probably by KO. Styles make fights, and Cotto can outbox PW checking him up with the jab and straight rights.

                    I say Cotto by KO.
